PBSKids.org is a website developed to accompany the children's programming broadcast by the Public Broadcasting Service under the "PBS Kids" brand. Like the television programs, the website is targeted towards children between the ages of two and 12 years old, although many of the activities and games are focused on children in preschool, kindergarten and the early elementary school years. The
. PBS Kids brand was founded in 1999, but many of the programs under the PBS Kids umbrella have been broadcast by the Public Broadcasting Service since the 1970s. PBSKids.org features sections relating to many of the current and former shows broadcast by PBS Kids. The website presently includes sections for "Angelina Ballerina," "Arthur," "Barney & Friends," "Berenstain Bears," Betsy's Kindergarten Adventures," "Between the Lions," "Boohbah, "Caillou," "The Cat in the Hat Knows a Lot About That," "Clifford the Big Red Dog," "Curious George," "Cyberchase," "Dinosaur Train," "Dragonfly TV," "The Electric Company, "Fetch," "Franny's Feet," "George Shrinks," "Jay Jay the Jet Plane," "Lomax, the Hound of Music," "Mama Mirabelle's Home Movies," "Martha Speaks," "Maya and Miguel," "Mister Rogers," "Make Way for Noddy," "Panwapa," "Postcards from Buster," "Sagwa," "Sesame Street," "Sid the Science Kid," "Super Why," "Teletubbies," "Toopy and Binoo," "WordWorld," "Zoboomafoo," and "Zoom." The content on PBSKids.org includes videos of these programs, as well as educational games relating to the programs. The child (and parent) may choose games based on the television program on which the game is based, or may choose to search for games by topic.
