When a driver's license is revoked or suspended, then you are supposed to stop driving until the license and driving privileges are restored. A person who continues to drive with a license that is suspended is violating the order of a court. If this is your first offense most likely you will get a citation. You will then be assigned a court date which you must attend, that is where you will get
. your punishment. You could either get community service or pay for your ticket and sometimes you get both. Now if this is not your first offense the consequenses will be more severe and you could get jail time for up to 90 days all depending on your record.
