"The best archaeology colleges will of course be determined by each individual attending the college. Any college, for any course of study should be researched. It may take a little time, but will prove to be beneficial to you in the end.In this case, you would want to find out if the school either has expiditions that it goes out in to the field on, or if their students are invited to go out on
. digs as volunteers. Volunteering for current digs and excavations is a great way to learn field work first hand.Be sure to ask plenty of questions before entering. It never hurts to have a list of questions ready when aproaching the school. If possible, it is always a good idea to talk to previous graduates from the school that you are considering, and see how things went for them upon graduation. Archaeology is a fascinating field. To me, there is nothing that can compete with taking a step back in time, to see how generations before us lived. But remember, research your school. Do not jump in to the first school that is cheap, or easy to get in to."
