Resistors in Parallel Series Combination

Resistors in parallel combination are being calculated by adding the inverse of all the individual resistors and inverting the final answer. For example: 1/R1+1/R2+1/R3+...=1/R(equivalent). Resistors in series are more easily calculated by just adding the individual resistors. For example: R1+R2+R3+...=R(equivalent).
