Removing credit inquiries can be easy. If a creditor unlawfully checked your credit, you can send them a dispute letter demanding they remove the inquires. One can also soft pull their credit report daily. These soft pulls will add up and can knock the hard inquiries off of your report. It takes a bit of time, but it will work.
