There are some great online sources to calculate how many btu you will need. At www.heatershop.com/btu_calculator.htm, there is a calculator. You will just need to take a few measurements and enter them. It also has a watts to btu converter. You will need to also keep in mind the amount of insulation you have and the number of windows.
