To transfer your care title, whether you are selling or donating it, is pretty easy. The title has a section that you can fill out the information on the new owner. You must also include the selling price and the odometer reading. In some states you may have to get this form from the Department of Motor Vehicles. Sometimes, it may have to be notarized.
