Quite often we like to know what's inside our computer making it work. To find the manufacturer's brand and processing speed of your PC computer click on your computer's start button and choose the Control Panel. Once there, right click on the icon that says 'System' then choose open. The 'General' page will show you your operating system, who it is registered to with Microsoft, and below that,
. the processor, its speed, and the amount of installed ram. This is good, quick, information but it is limited. I recommend a program called Belarc Advisor for a more comprehensive look inside your machine. It also gives you information on your hard drives, controllers, adapters, the mother board, attached peripherals, and a comprehensive list of installed programs. Advisor is free on the web from Belarc and other download sites. I use it when I'm working on friends' machines so I have a better understanding of what's inside.
