FTP sites are typically free but not as effective as client software. One of the better FTP sites is www.zshare.com. I highly recommend using BulletProof FTP for client software instead of relying on the site. The software is free and can be downloaded at www.cnet.com. Another suggestion is to look into torrents as an alternative to FTP.
