Windows is the building block for every OS that was ever built. They pride themselves in user adaptability. Windows however has adapted to the user in a whole new way. Windows allows you to use any gif or jpeg file as an icon. Just use the properties tab and change the icon by selecting the picture you choose as the icon. Make your own, or get one from a webpage.
