A supervisor is the lowest of the management positions. They are responsible for the day-to-day performance of a team of people. The supervisor has pretty much the same work experience as the other members, they are bascally just the group leader. A manager is responsible for planning and directing the work . Manager may have the power to hire or fire employees or to promote them.
. Supervisors generally do not have that power.
