Detective activities can be a fun, adventure for children. It can teach them, attention to detail, record keeping, and team work. Some exciting activities for playing detective are, set up a crime scene, keep it age appropriate, perhaps something like little red riding hood lost her pies, lets investigate the crime scene for evidence. Place clues, at the crime scene, give the children a pencil,
. and paper for them to record their clues. Once all of the clues have been found have the children, get together to compare their recorded clues, and brainstorm together to close the case. The next step could be having some of the children be witnesses, each child can take turn asking the witnesses questions about what they saw, heard, or know about the crime, again recording the information on their note pad. This will be a very rewarding, fun, adventure activity for children of all ages. Go to your local store for supplies prior to the game, to insure you are ready to play.
