For those that are currently working for or have worked for Delta Airlines, they are probably aware of its flyer program, Delta TravelNet, which is available to all employees, survivors or retirees, and, under some circumstances, their family and friends. In order to maintain eligibility for this program, those that wish to use it need to make sure that they maintain their annual membership by
. paying their annual fees on time, usually on or near their original hire date. In addition, primary pass riders, the name given to this group of select passengers, must abide by all of the rules and regulations put forth by Delta, and make sure that anyone using their pass does the same.Delta Airlines has a site where employees, or eligible primary pass riders, can log in and order their tickets, check their annual membership status or do a host of other tasks related to their travel; the site is located at http://dlnet.delta.com/. Once the primary pass rider is at the site, they need to access the Employee Self-Service tab, or ESS, to get started. By logging in, the primary pass rider can check status of his enrollment, access an easy-to-navigate tutorial on how the system works, review and download any pertinent information for those traveling, order the tickets and also confirm that the passengers are ticketed properly to avoid delays at the airport.Delta Airlines' TravelNet program comes with its own set of what it calls, "Jetiquette," rules that any person using the TravelNet program must adhere to, and this also goes for their guests, whether they are with them or not. This list of rules and tips is easily accessed at http://dlnet.delta.com/tibadmin/DocumentDownload?docname=human_resources/pass_travel/fact_sheets/article_0049213.pdf and is a great way to make sure that everyone traveling under the primary pass rider's membership is aware of all the rules and regulations governing their participation in the program.More reference links: dlnet.delta.com/ http://travelinfo.delta.com/dlnonrev/Leaving_on_a_Jet_Plane.pdf
