Ascii symbols are the numerical representation of characters. ASCII means American Standard Code for Information Interchange. These symbols were created years ago but now it is rarely used. They were originally designed to use with teletypes. You can create ASCII code in Notepad, a text base software on Windows computers. You can also create ASCII in Microsoft Word by saving the document as text
. only. ASCII symbols can be generated in most Windows applications, by activating the NUM LOCK key on the keyboard. As the NUM LOCK is activated, press the ALT key and enter a certain number on your numeric keypad. This is located on the right of your letter keys. The symbol will become visible once you release the ALT key and after you have entered the number. The following numbers will create an ASCII symbol, 15, 20, 21, 128, 129, 132, 133, 131 and 134. 15 for example is actually a wingding and the others are just Non-English text.
