Anti filter iran (Iran) is based on the fact that many are looking for a way to bypass web filters and censorship. There are some countries where freedom of expression and freedom of speech is felt to be threatened. In theocratic or totalitarian states, it is very common for those in charge to censure materials. Originally, this started with books and written media, then extended to television and
. radio. But today, the primary method of sharing information is the Internet, which is now more than a cultural phenomenon by rather a culture in itself. In this medium, virtually anyone can say or share anything and to states that demand a strict set of moral and behavioral codes, that influence can be destructive. In Iran, the government has censured parts of the Internet for lewdness and moral bankruptcy. They feel that the culture of the West (primarily the US) is negatively affecting their culture. This same censorship exists in China, to a small degree, but it rapidly disappearing. Probably the most restrictive nation in terms of the Internet is North Korea, which only allows its version of the Internet to be used. The North Korean version only shares news of North Korea, including the history and villainy of the US in the history of the peninsula.Although this censure is strong, anyone with a little computer knowledge can easily find ways around any firewall. In response to this, many have searched for a way to express themselves without having their thoughts blocked or censored. The way this can be done is as follows:1. Find a proxy (like Picidae Server, Psiphon, Proxify, or Tor).
2. Enter the URL into the proxy application.
3. Browse through firewalls, filters and so on. If you are able to enter previously blocked sites, then the anti filter has worked for you.
