It would be nice if there was a formula to calculate accounts receivable days. You usually will run every thirty days. At the end of these days you will mail the bills. You then give them two weeks to respond to the bill. If there is no response you will send out a second notice and a third notice. If there is no response to these you normally will start collection proceedings.
