There are many ways people form bias. A bias is similar to judging someone based on a situation or circumstance which may or may not be something they can control. The media is one of the biggest forms of bias which include news reporters, radio and even some newspapers. When determining if someone or something being bias, it is not only about what is being reported but how it is being
. reported. Some other forms of bias include economical and political bias. These two forms are somewhat interchangeable. This form of bias can include forming an opinion based on a persons political association or their finances. This form also applies to people in government that use a bill or law for their own personal economic favor. When an individual expresses bias over a politician due to circumstances that the politician is promising - such as keeping the taxes for upper and lower classes equal - there is the potential for riots. The bias presents itself due to the individual wanting to do well only for themselves. The individual associates the subject with themselves and their personal lives. The politician that may have made a statement is well aware that he or she may be causing bias; however, that is how most get the votes of the citizens.Others may favor a musician or sports team due to the personal issues that an individual believes that he or she and the "famous" person have in common. The best definition of bias is when an individual favors a person or situation, regardless of the true character of the person or situation. The individual who is bias is "blind" to the faults of the person or situation, and finds only good things about it. There are thousands of issues with bias in the world, today, and unfortunately there is no cure. For more information, please see:http://www.reference.com/browse/bias
