According to the Florida lien law, If you hire someone to work on your property and fail to pay them in full when they are finished. By law they have the right to enforce a claim against your property to get payment for the work that they have done. If the contractor fails to pay the subcontractors the subcontractors can get your property and get paid even if you have paid the orignal contractor
