To become and FBI agent, you must be a citizen of the United States, you have to be at least 23 years old, and no older than 37 at the time you apply. You have to qualify under one of the five entry programs, which are, accounting, computer science/information technology, language, law or diversified. . looking for at the time. In order to be hired by the FBI, you will also have to meet their physical requirements. The physical test will count the number of sit ups you can do in one hour, a timed sprint, number of push ups you can do, and a timed 1.5 mile run. There will also be vision and hearing tests. If your score is under 6 points, you can reapply again after one year. The FBI will review your medical history. Lastly you will have to pass the FBI background investigation and drug test. You will be disqualified if you have a felony or drug conviction, if you defaulted on a student loan or if you failed to register for the selective service.
