To build effective team work, always have positive reinforcement. Eliminate all negative behavior; it will spread like a cancer. It will set the pace and tone of your team. Be sure the team has a set of rules to follow so it's not a free for all. Stand behind each and if one falls down, pick him up. There has to be a level of trust.
