Adjectives are words that are used to modify or describe a noun or pronoun or person or thing in the sentence. There are different degrees of descriptions that can be used as adjectives and these are called comparatives and superlatives. They are really being used to make comparisons and to contrasts between items. For example, for the adjective " clean', the comparative form is " cleaner' and
. the superlative is " cleanest'. However, there are some adjectives that are irregular and these include little which would be less and least; and good which would be better and best respectively.
