Chicago's free trolley system has been discontinued. It did offer free trolley service to some popular destinations. Some of the destinations were the Museum and the Zoo. There was not a ticket needed to ride. You would catch a trolley at a trolley stop marked "Free Ride". The service was available Memorial Day thru Labor Day.
