Installing a cement now strip is an easy job. Start by digging out your desired area and make it a minimum of 8 inches deep. Fill it 1/2 way with crushed stone and pack it down firmly. Place lengths of 1" by 4" boards vertically along each side of the dug out area, leveling them to each other. Mix cement and pour it into the space between the lumber, using a straightedge to level off the top of
. the cement and let dry before removing the leveling lumber. More instructions can be found at this site http://www.gardeningclub.com/Projects/Project.aspx?id=128652.
