Can I Draw Unemployment If I Am Fired

You can draw unemployment if you are fired. You might have to go through a 6 week waiting period. You need to fill out the paperwork and the agency will give a ruling as to whether you get it then or have to wait. Your employer has a voice in this also. You can file appeals but by the time they are heard, the six week waiting period will be up.
