Many laborers work for a set daily amount. If they finish their work in 5 hours, or 9 hours, they will get paid the same. Sometimes it seems like the money is real good, say $100 per day. But, if you are consistently working 12 hours per day, is it really all that good? To find out the hourly rate, you would divide the $100 by the 12 hours and the hourly rate you would come up with is $8.33.
. Probably not as much as you thought huh?
