"To calculate a grade for school you take the number of points to be earned, subtract from the number of points missed & divide by the number of possible points. For example: You have 20 problems, you miss 2 problems therefore you subtract 2 from 20 & get 18. Divide 18 by 20 & you get 0.9 on your calculator so that would be a 90. Which would be a 90 percent tile or an A-. To calculate an average
