Buying a car with a lien on it could sometimes be a hassle. You have to make sure you get the release title or the lien release paper. If you have all of that all you have to do is go the DMV and apply for a title and registration, Also if you have the lien release paper make sure to get a copy of it. In the end to me it just isn't worth it
