Depending on what type of brush you are looking to clean I have two recommendations for paint brushes and hair brushes. If you need to clean paint brushes you will need to know what type of paint you are using. If you are using an oil based paint you will need have on hand mineral spirits or paint thinner to soak your brushes in so the paint will be released from your paint bristles. Once you
. have removed the paint you will want to dry your brush with bristles down. If you are using a water based paint you can just clean your brushes with plain water. Rinse the brush with cold water until there is no more paint coming out of the brush. Dry with the brush bristles down. If you are cleaning a hair brush just remove any hair that is in the brush by back combing. Soak the hair brush in a mild soap and water mixture for about 10 mintues. Remove the brush and rinse until all traces of the soap are gone. Shake out excess moisture and place brush on it's side to dry.
