Bench Vice

A bench vice is a holding device that is bolted to a work bench. It opens and closes by turning a handle that is attached to a spindle.This allows for control over how tight something is held. It has one fixed jaw and one moveable jaw. Bench vices are used to hold objects allowing use of other tools to complete a task. Filing edges on a block is a perfect example.
