"The Amway Arena is a now defunct arena that was once home to 3 different sports teams. The teams are the Orlando Predators, the Orlando Titans and the professional NBA team, the Orlando Magic. The arena has also hosted numerous musical acts as well as the Ringling Brothers & Barnum Bailey Circus and the Dew Action Sports Tour. The arena opened on January 29, 1989 and was originally known as the
. Orlando Arena. It also went by the names TD Waterhouse Centre. The cost to construct the arena was $10,000,000.The arena is located in the downtown Orland, Florida area on West Amelia St. The arena was slated to be closed in favor of a newly constructed arena because it was felt that the arena was outdated almost as soon as it was constructed. The last event that was held at the arena was on September 30, 2010 and was the So You Think You Can Dance Tour. The arena was then closed for the last time."
