Adjusted Trial Balance and Closing Entries

Adjusted trial balance and closing entries are performed regularly as part of the accounting cycle of a company. In order to get to the adjusted trial balance, you first have to prepare the trial balance. This ensures that debits equal credits. Discrepancies have to be corrected. Adjusting entries are made to record acrruals and deferrals. These totals will then be posted to the ledger. .
