When you have a good employee sometimes, it is hard in accepting an employee resignation letter. The employee should at least give you a two weeks notice. Employers do not have to honor that and could let the employee go depeding on factors. The employer could offer additional benefits for the employee to stay. However, it is likely that the employee will leave.
