Powerdyne Superchargers

Powerdyne is a well known manufacturer of superchargers for automobiles. A supercharger is an air compressor used for forced induction of an internal combustion engine, which results in an increase in horsepower and faster speeds. The first supercharger was patented in 1860 by brothers Philander and Francis Marion Roots. A supercharger can be powered using a belt, gear, shaft or chain connected .
