Women have often been thought of as the weaker sex and less capable of physical displays of prowess than their male counterparts. This is not the case in present days. As the male/ female gender role barriers have become more and more vague and blurred the separation into what a male should or can do and what a female should and can do have begun to form into what people can or should do.The male
. body is more apt to gaining muscle mass and is therefore more able to easily carry a heavy load, this does not mean however that women are unable to carry a heavy load. There are many jobs that women have now begun to join into that involve heavy lifting and displays and use of strength. The first example is the position of firefighter/emt which requires women to carry unconscious men down ladders from burning buildings or men who have had heart attacks or suffered a grave injury in car accidents up onto gurneys.Women are capable of lifting and carrying their male counterparts and are more than capable of doing jobs which had previously been determined to be only for men due to their strength requirement. As long as women have had the proper training with their knowledge and muscles there is no reason to think a woman could not carry a man in any situation that may arise. In general a woman's ability to carry a man depends on several variables: the age of the woman, her physical fitness, the weight of the man and the heigh difference between the two. A woman who is 4'11" will not likely be able to carry a 300 pound man who is 6'5", but woman who are of average height and weight can carry men of average to lighter weights. It must also be stated that men would also have difficulty carrying a 300 pound man who is pure dead weight by themselves. Women are stronger than they are given credit for.
