Ok this one is pretty simple. When you go to the store you can pit the little pieces of hair they have displaying the color up to your face to see what looks better. Here is a better way of explaining it though. If you have very pale white skin that doesn't tan very well you want to stick with a light color. Maybe a blonde or strawberry blonde will go great. Anything dark will make your skin look
. even more pale then it already is and it might even give you a bit of a sick look. Not a very good thing. If you have fair skin with warm under tones, basically a nice healthy glow to your skin you can go a little bit darker. Try a nice platinum blonde or a honey brown. It will bring out the natural healthy glow of your skin. For a medium to dark skin tone go for anything from a light brown to a darker brown. So basically browns. For this skin type you can also go with a darker blonde as well. Not to blonde though you might end up making your tan look a bit orange. Oh and try to stay away from the dark reds these will definitely give your tan a very fake look to it. Now for the darker womne out there please don't go with blonde. It'll take the focus away from your entire face straight to your hair. Stick with a dark brown or even some of the reds. These will look great with dark skin. You can even throw in some highlights if you decide to go with a chocolate brown. Don't try it with red hair though. Red dye is very hard to get rid of so highlights wouldn't show to well they might not even show at all. Just go with waht you feel but don't forget to stick with something that will accent your skin and not take away the spotlight from your face. I myself tried to go with an outrageous color one time. I have a natural glow to my skin so when I dyed it black it didn't compliment my face too well. Everyone told me I looked mean and depressed. So don't go with anything too far from your skin tone. Keep all the focus on your face. Here is a video that will help out alot when it comes to finding the right hair color for you http://www.ehow.com/video_4410093_matching-hair-color-skin-tone.html
