Dreamcast Bios

The BIOS or Basic Input/Output System is a firmware that controls the booting of a computer system and checks, tests, and identifies all attached hardware such as monitors, graphic and sound cards. The BIOS is usually in a chip that is attached to the motherboard or to whatever chipset it is meant to control. A BIOS is required for the operation of gaming emulators and to play a Sega Dreamcast .
