America Online offers a free email address to everyone who uses their paid internet service. America Online mail, sometimes referred to as AOL mail or AIM mail for short, used to offer an inbox capacity of 1000 emails before the inbox was completely full but now offers their customers unlimited email storage. The unlimited storage feature is very useful, as users can sort and store emails in
. labeled folders for future reference instead of just deleting them forever. AOL mail offers one of the greatest features of email by allowing the sender to send pictures right in the body of the email. In their never ending quest to make their service even better, AOL mail also automatically sorts email, sending appropriate content to the spam folder. If the user wants to delete in groups, it is not a problem. The user can view email alphabetically by subject or sender, and delete everything at once or one at a time. If the user is on the go and can not log in to their AOL account at home, this is not a problem because users can just visit webmail.aol.com and log directly into their email inbox for access to all of their emails. The webmail option is very attractive, as it allows people to get their important emails at any time, not just when they are using their home computer. Users who own smart phones with internet browsing capabilities are able to log into their webmail right on their phone. AOL allows a full six months of account inactivity before deleting the email account, which is a much longer time period than many companies offer. In addition to @aol.com email addresses, AOL also offers emails with other domains, including @wow.com, @love.com, @ygm.com and @games.com, offering customers more variety and excitement when it comes to their email address.
