Hyper Island students produced a music video
The last semester at Hyper Island consists of a module called the Final Project. In this module, our students can chose a project of their own. Our Karlskrona students Karl Nord and Dag Månsson produced a music video for a Swedish band called Maskinen as their final project this spring. Read more

The webb bureau Doberman was awarded the best Swedish workplace 2007. This makes us extra proud, since the managing director Lisa Lindström graduated from Hyper Island eight years ago.

When Hyper Island student Martina Tranström was out on her internship in New York, she couldn’t help but notice that out of 40 web designers, only two were female. And she decided to do something about it! Read more.

Hyper Island and the Grand Prix
This year many of our former Hyper Island students did very well in the “world championship in advertising” in Cannes. The winner of the Grand Prix in the Media cathegory was a company called Perfect Fools, which is the work place of eleven former Hyper Island students. Read more.

Sweden’s best year in Cannes – ever!
Last week Hyper Island visited the “world championship in advertising” in Cannes, France. About the Cannes Lions much can be said, but one thing is for sure – this year Sweden finally proved that we are up there with the biggest nations in the world, receiving more Lions than ever before.Read more.

Crispin Porter + Bogusky at Hyper Island

Stuff to do?

What we do for the environment
Hyper Island, and the offices at Telefonplan where we are based in Stockholm, is always striving to reduce our carbon dioxide emissions. We are currently 30 % below the national average for offices. Read more here.

Hyper Island students won Young Lions Sweden
Oscar Asmoarp from Crew 8 and Mattias Matthisson from crew 7, recently won the cyber cathegory of the competition Young Lions Sweden and will represent Sweden in the international final in Cannes this summer. Read more on the Hyper Island blog.

Hyper Island quartet win web design contest
Team Torsk, consisting of four Crew 11 students, won the Webdesign International Festival. 40 teams gathered in Limognes in France, and had 24 hours to finish a task. Congratulations to Hampus, Johan, Rasmus and Anton! Read the full story in our blog.

Even before the first year is over, the Interactive Art Director program is a true success. The students are extremely attractive in both Sweden and abroad.
