Immigration (Designation of Travel Bans) (Amendment) Order 2008

SI 2008/3052: wef 17 December 2008, amends the 2000 Order by replacing the Schedule (last replaced by the 2007 Order, now repealed). The additions to Part 1 of the Schedule relate to Al Qaida and the Taliban, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Iran, Liberia and Sierra Leone. The additions to Part 2 relate to Belarus, Burma/Myanmar, Cote d’Ivoire, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia, Iran, Liberia, Moldovan Republic, Sierra Leone, Sudan, and Zimbabwe. The deletion from Part 1 relates to Liberia. The deletions from Part 2 relate to Belarus, Burma/Myanmar, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Federal Republic of Yugoslavia, Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia, Liberia, Moldovan Republic, Uzbekistan, and Zimbabwe.

Immigration (Biometric Registration) (Objection to Civil Penalty) Order 2008

SI 2008/2830: wef 5th November 2008, sets out the prescribed matters in respect of an objection to a civil penalty issued under the biometric registration provisions.
