ExMac is a file transfer utility designed to read, write and format Apple Macintosh discs. ExMac provides a filer-like interface, allowing you to transfer files and directories between Macintosh discs and RISC OS filing systems. It provides the following facilities:

• Supports both 1440K and 720K density discs, including formatting, though users of machines fitted with low density disc drives will only be able to use the 720K format.
• User definable mapping of file types between the Macintosh and Acorn platforms.
• Automatic character set mapping between the Macintosh and Acorn platforms, including the conversion of carriage returns and linefeeds, when transferring text files.
• Now supports long file name filing systems, no long truncates filenames.

File Examiner is an application to allow a user to visualize the content of any file in terms of various data types and to edit such data. Sections of files can also be extracted and deleted as required. There is also a limited facility for editing the blocks on a floppy diskette.

Now includes an Overlay Editor which allows the definition of data structures which can be used to view and edit the raw data in different views. Supports most C data types plus automatic big-endian data types.

RTFtoHTML converts RTF Version 1.4 files into HTML documents suitable for viewing by any application which can display HTML files. The document text and certain formatting information is translated from RTF into HTML. Now supports the mapping of RTF styles to HTML styles and the option to save each section as a separate HTML file.

The RTF text styling which is carried over to the HTML output is:

• paragraph alignment;
• bold;
• italic;
• underlining;
• superscripts;
• subscripts;
• strikeout.

The HTML produced by this application has been tested with Arcweb v1.65 and Browse v2.06.

ChangeTxt converts text files between Acorn, PC and Macintosh platforms. ChangeTxt supports the following features:

• Line terminator mapping i.e. CR to LF, etc.
• Character set mapping between Acorn, DOS, OS/2 & Macintosh platforms.
• Strips invisible characters and expands tabs.
• Provides direct conversions between platforms:
  • Acorn to Mac, Dos, OS/2
  • Dos to Acorn, Mac , OS/2
  • Mac to Acorn, DOS, OS/2
  • OS/2 to Mac, Acorn, DOS
• Guesses platform type examining the contents of a text file and automatically choosing a source platform to map to your destination platform.
• Fully multi-tasking. All file conversions are performed in background. Allows multiple files to be converted, even add files with a different mapping during conversion.
• ArcWeb compatible. Automatically converts text files downloaded off the Internet.
• Support for multiple preference files for regularly performed conversions.

LotCheck allows you to check the National Lottery draw numbers against lists of your own numbers. Useful if you run a syndicate. Now exports results as HTML.

RTF Reader is a program to extract the document text from an RTF Version 1.4 file. The extracted text is placed into a standard Acorn text file. Now supports the ANSI character set and the option to save sections as separate files.

RTF Writer is a program to convert a standard text file into an RTF Version 1 file. The RTF file can be imported directly into any word processor which can read RTF, on the Archimedes, Macintosh, PC, etc. without any further modification.
