Student accused of UHS theft

The University of Massachusetts Police Department (UMPD) has charged a student worker for allegedly stealing Adderall, a controlled substance, from the pharmacy at University Health Services (UHS). David J. Bach, 19, of 13 Bach Lane in South Hadley, pleaded innocent Friday at his arraignment and is due back in court for a pre-trial hearing on Oct.

Men's Soccer: Minutement to face No. 1 Wake Forest to prepare for A-10s

The low key, no-pressure scrimmage on Saturday afternoon proved how the Massachusetts men's soccer team can play, although the competition wasn't as tough as expected. UMass (2-4-2) beat the Winstars soccer academy, 5-0, getting goals from various Minutemen including sophomore Stuart Amick, junior Bryan Hogan (two goals) and freshman reserve Jason Villagomez (two).
