The liebig extract of meat company has edited since 1867 many ephemera and more than 10.000 trade cards sets in many languages. All these ephemera lithographic chromos are real antiques and more than 100 years old.  All chromo’s series are photographed and are available on this site. And practically all cards can be ordered.  Each set has many variations in verso and reverse depending on those country-languages.  Also examples of albums, menu cards, table cards, calendars and cook books have been listed in the catalogue   Historic expansion  end 1875 they edited their most  famous sets in Bohemian, English, Flemish, French, German, Spanish, Danish, Swedish, Hungarian, Russian, Belgian  and Italian. Most card sets were only printed  for their product ( monopoly, copy right ) and more than 1900 different sets are now catalogued.  So most of these were especially produced by printers for the Liebig Company and don't exist for others Companies.   It is a fantastic collection on plants, animals, society worldwide, history, inventions, famous people, geography, arts and ...name any other subject and I'll show you a few sets on that topic.   .  They were systematic stuck in books on a certain subject : opera, music,fish, states, habits, architectural, flowers, women ... call a topic it and I'll show  it to you in the Liebig collection.

Please don’t overreact and read this carefully : mentioned catalogue prices are ONLY for original FIRST editions, for sets and cards from the LIEBIG Extract of Meat Company, very good condition ONLY. For all other editions ( proofs, other companies, other printing) prices are only fractions of those prices ! Just an example : a complete ordinary set without advertising on front, with blanco verso (no printing at all) has a worth of ONE dollar or maybe 10 cent if printed by another printer (vintage falsifications, sold copyrights, reproductions)
