The Daitozan Jinja or Shambhala Jinja or Kami Shrine is the Shinto Shrine at Shambhala Mountain Center in Red Feather Lake CO. Shambhala Jinja enshrines:
AMATERASU OMIKAMI TOKYOUKEHIME NO MIKOTO SARUTAHIKO NO O KAMI AME NO UZUME NO MIKOTO
Chinzasai (ceremony of enshrinement) was conducted in 1992 by Rev. Yukiyasu Yamamoto the 97th generation High Priest of Tsubaki Grand Shrine in Mie Japan. For the last 9 years the Shinto Priest responsible for the Shamabhala/Daitozan Jinja has been Rev. Koichi Barrish who is the Senior Shinto Priest of Tsubaki Grand Shrine of America ( www.TsubakiShrine.org). The anual ceremony of Shambhala/Daitozan Jinja in 2008 is scheduled for 7/19.
