Alexander Evreinov (1877-1959) was an Russian bishop converted to Catholicism from Russian Orthodoxy. Being a citizen with a noble origin in Saint Petersburg, Evreinov was a member of the Foreign Affairs of Russian nation before his conversion to Catholic faith and ordination to priesthood. His consecration as Catholic bishop of Byzantine tradition was only formal, because Evreinov didn't have any jurisdiction among Russian Catholics neither inside Russia nor abroad. Evreinov died in 1959.
