Welcome to the Centre of Computer Graphics and Data Visualisation at the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at the University of West Bohemia in Plzen, Czech Republic . These pages provide information about the structure and personnel of the laboratory, about teaching and research activities.

Center of Computer Graphics and Data Visualisation is focused especially on design and verification of algorithms for computer, algorithms for data visualisation (e.g., medical data) and algorithms of cpomutational geometry. In the scope of its focus, the centre cooperates with many universities and international IT corporations (e.g., Microsoft Corporation and its research centre Microsoft Research). The cooperation with other centers of comuper graphics in the Czech republic is also supported by the government project MSMT LC No. 06008. For its innovative use of Microsoft development technologies in education and research, the centre was awarded (on 24th February 2004) by Microsoft Laboratory of Excellence Award.
