This group is for those of us who own molossers: [all mastiff breeds], Neo, English, Anatolian, Bernese, Boxer, Bulldog, Bullmastiff, Cane Corso, Pyrenees, Dogo, DBX, Fila, APBT, Dane, Leonberger, Newf, Canario, Rottie, Saint, Staffies, Tosa, etc., etc.

This list, hopefully, will afford its members opportunities to discuss the future well being of molosser-related breeds in a group setting as opposed to the many individual breed lists that precludes information and remedy sharing.

Our breeds are in jeopardy due to the aggressive actions of some members of the respective breeds. Our breeds are at risk because of the uses to which they are put by unscrupulous persons who exploit them for monetary and/or other self-serving illegal purposes. Our breeds are in harm's way because of the very features we owners admire - the sheer size of them or the uniqueness or strength of them. But, there are unconscionable breeders who are cross breeding our breeds to develop the very types of animals that are jeopardizing the future of our ancient breeds. By net working together we can have a positive influence towards better breeding. We can educate and get the message out to future owners of the urgency of socialization and obedience training, of finding responsible homes for puppies, etc. The molosser breeds are in desperate need of accurate and good public relations. This list has been created to bring together the responsible breeders and owners to help the breeds.
