From the “school in the woods” dream of Miss Emily Harrison and the desire and cooperation of the DeKalb County School System, Fernbank Science Center became a reality. From opening its doors in 1967 to today, Fernbank Science Center has
encouraged curiosity, inspired a love for science, and engaged all learners who enter. As we look toward the future with its challenges and opportunities, Fernbank Science Center continues to serve the students and citizens of DeKalb County and beyond through excellence in Science Education. |
