Overview
A limited number of partial or full scholarships are available
for students from the Arab Region interested in the MPH and
MS programs at the Faculty of Health Sciences (FHS). Full scholarships
cover tuition and related academic expenses, travel to and from
country of residence as well as basic living expenses. Partial
scholarships provide financial support for a range of these
expenses.
Application Process
Prospective students interested in the graduate scholarships
should make sure to complete the following steps:
STEP 1: Submit an
Application
for Graduate Admission to the Office of Admissions at AUB).
The deadline is April 30. (Keep a copy of your
completed application form).
Please read carefully the Instructions for Applying to Graduate
Study on the Cover Page of the Application for Graduate Admission.
STEP 2: Submit a Scholarship
Application, a Recommendation
Form and a copy of your completed Graduate Admission Application

STEP 3: Graduate applicants must sit for an English Exam
to satisfy AUB English Language Proficiency Requirements (ELPR) for admission.

Upon registering for these tests applicants must specify that
results be sent to the AUB Office of Admissions.
Information and application forms for the TOEFL can be
requested from:

number for AUB: 0902, when registering for the test.
For information pertaining to IELTS applicants should
contact the British Council in their respective countries.
Applicants are required to submit their English Language Proficiency
Test scores with the Scholarship Application.
Based on the preliminary review of these documents, selected
applicants will be invited for an interview, in person at FHS
or by telephone if travel is not possible, to further assess
their eligibility for the scholarship.
Criteria for Selection
AUB is an equal opportunity educational institution. Scholarships
will be granted on the basis of merit and not race, gender,
citizenry, or religion. Prospective applicants will be evaluated
based on the following criteria:
1. Commitment to service in public health and related fields
in their country of origin after completion
of their degree at FHS.
2. Leadership potential in public health.
3. Relevant work experience and educational background.
4. Local need for public health graduates in the country of
applicant.
5. Good Academic record
