First Prize awarded to Dr. May Massoud for the Saudi Arabia for Environmental Management Award 2008

May Massoud, PhD has been selected as a winner of the First Prize of the Saudi Arabia for Environmental Management Award for 2008 - جائزة المملكة العربية السعودية للإدارة البيئية لسنة 2008

This award for the best research project related to environmental management is organized by the Arab Administrative Development Organization (ARADO). ARADO is a specialized organization affiliated with the League of Arab States and assumes the responsibility of promoting administrative development in the Arab region.

The Award ceremony will take place in Sharm El Sheik in Egypt during the 7th Arab Environmental Management Conference, 13-16 October 2008.  Massoud will be giving a presentation about her award winning research entitled “Factors Influencing the Development of Management Strategies for Rivers in Developing Countries”.
