Evidence-based
Public Health: A Course for Practitioners
The Evidence-Based Public Health is a four-day intensive
course for practitioners offering a comprehensive approach to
program development and evaluation from a scientific perspective.
Participants will learn how to access and interpret existing
data, and then utilize this data to plan appropriate initiatives,
all this by means of highlighting the linkages between data
systems and program/policy initiatives.
The course will be offered for the first time in summer 2008
(specific dates to be announced shortly).
The course is offered at the Faculty
of Health Sciences within the beautiful AUB campus in Beirut,
Lebanon. Participants will have access to a number of AUB facilities,
including the sports grounds.
You can visit the AUB
website and take a tour
of the AUB campus. |
